Welcome to Tahoe Film Company, where heartfelt storytelling meets stunning visuals. I'm James Coleman, a filmmaker from Monterey, CA, now based in Reno, Nevada. Inspired early by the California coastline and later by Reno's diverse landscapes, I began my video production career in high school, quickly moving into brand content and documentary filmmaking. My true passion, however, lies in wedding filmmaking—capturing the unique love stories and intimate moments that make each wedding special.

At Tahoe Film Company, each film is a tribute to the unique bond each couple shares, designed to be cherished for generations. It’s a privilege to capture love in its purest form against Tahoe’s breathtaking scenery, creating timeless films that encapsulate extraordinary love stories.

I am deeply grateful for a wonderful spouse, a three-year-old son, and a one-year-old daughter. My family continually inspires me and enriches my understanding of love, allowing me to bring greater authenticity and emotional depth to the stories I tell on screen. In celebrating love in all its forms, I draw from my own life as both a filmmaker and a devoted husband and father.
