Catholic ceremonies, like Kathleen and Andrew’s, give us an opportunity to shoot indoor ceremonies. We always enjoy the stained glass windows and rich wood tones.
After Kathleen and Andrew’s ceremony we headed to West Shore Cafe for the reception. We arrived in perfect time for catch this gorgeous soft lighting for their bridal party photos and video session.
Sometimes your photographer will choose your couple’s photos for a little past golden hour into what we call blue hour. The sun has already gone behind the mountains but that doesn’t mean we can’t capture beautiful images and clips. Kathleen and Andrew’s film is a perfect example of this time of evening footage!
Your bridesmaids and groomsmen make all the difference for the overall vibe and flow of the wedding day. Kathleen’s ladies made her feel loved and supported throughout every moment of her special day.
Don’t you love the natural bright lighting of St. Francis Assisi in Lake Tahoe? It is a gorgeous venue if you are opting for a Catholic ceremony.
It was our first time shooting at West Shore Cafe. We were really into the rustic, warm reception area. They have a really cozy space with high ceilings, candle inspired chandeliers and views of the beach just a few steps away.
