Mekenna and Andrew's wedding showcased an exquisite attention to detail. We were truly captivated by their meticulous planning, as they infused every aspect of their special day with a thoughtfully curated atmosphere. It's always a joy for us to witness couples who have meticulously considered and brought to life the mood and ambiance of their wedding, right down to the finest details.
In the midst of the challenging circumstances caused by the wildfire smoke that enveloped the Lake Tahoe area, Mekenna and Andrew's wedding at PJ's at Gray's Crossing shone brightly. Despite the hazy conditions, we remained committed to capturing breathtaking moments, just like this one during their first look. The smoke added a unique and ethereal quality to the scene, resulting in truly extraordinary shots. We were determined to adapt to the situation and seize every opportunity to create stunning images that reflect the love and resilience of the couple.
After the ceremony and cocktail hour we snuck away into the woods to capture some last minute shots before the sunset.
